I grew up wanting to be a radio dj. I love music, I love talking, and I have a good voice. Unfortunately by the time I grew up, radio was on the decline. Of course, TV wasn’t going anywhere, so that’s where I got my start.

Before I became a media mogul, I was an athlete. More specifically, I was a football player. I played all the way through college and absolutely loved it. I also played basketball, baseball, volleyball, and track (thrower and high jumper). My time in sports was key in teaching me discipline, how to push myself, and how to work with others towards a common goal.

I worked in both Atlanta and Indianapolis at WGCL CBS 46 and WXIN Fox 59, respectively. 8 years in TV news taught me how to be decisive and quick, and how to really tell a visual story. I was also given an opportunity to write for the news, and that helped me identify the main point of the story and how to get there with as few words as possible. I have spent the last 12 years in event productions and marketing.

Along the way I also earned a degree in web design and development to help expand my skillset. In my time outside television I’ve learned how to juggle different projects and personalities, and how to manage my time and think further ahead than just 10 or 11pm.
