You know, Doug, this happens to be a very appropriate episode for me. I am forever overloading shelving in my home. I tend to load up decorative, but functional shelves like I would a storage shelf in my garage!
I was in the middle of something else when I decided to take a break and watch Shelf Arranging Part -2. By the time I was finished, I couldn’t possibly make myself go back to work until I checked out this one particular shelf in the living room. It has never looked right no matter how I arranged the pieces on it. I only played around with it for a few minutes, but basically just depopulated it by 50%. I cannot believe the difference! I’m serious. Even though it’s not exactly arranged very well at the moment, it looks ten times better than before.
I can’t believe that all this time I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with that stupid wall (shelf too cluttered) and then after I watched this episode it’s so blatantly obvious. Jeez, Louise!
