Excellent episode, Doug. This really applies to some of the major functional space issues I have as I am working toward making some interior changes in my home in the near future. In a more general sense, it also addresses some “unknowns” that I’ve always had when trying to create well-designed spaces. It has helped me to better identify the actual purpose of the space, instead of relying on the traditional names of spaces while limiting my ability to plan for their use.
Just out of curiosity, do you shoot this in your house? It’s beautiful!
